Far from the main island and truly blessed with natural beauty. Once in a lifetime, everyone should visit this destination to explore white sandy beaches with a flow of cool waves and experience an international tour with the Indian tadka to it.

While planning to Andaman & Nicobar island you must know a few things like how many days you need to cover this destination, what hotel is best for the stay, flights and ferry booking done in advance, what adventure or sports activities you should try out there. Andaman & Nicobar island standard tour:

Are you planning to visit this destination for 2 or 3 days? Of course not. Just the flight to Port Blair from any metropolitan city will take 1.5 hours or more.  That’s only the entry point. After that, you’d have to visit a jetty and take a ferry to hop to the island or beach if you wish to visit or are interested. You need at least 5 to 6 days to explore the major island of the Andaman.

Day: 01 Arrive in Port Blair

Everyone who travels to Andamans has to visit Port Blair as it serves as an entry point to these islands, be it through the air or by sea. Port Blair is the only entry point that connects the main island. One can take flights from Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai to reach Port Blair –Veer Savarkar international airport. Everyone does visit the cellular jail which is probably the most well-known and major attraction. There are many other attractions in Port Blair such as Ross island (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep), Viper Island, North Bay, Mount Harriet, Jolly buoy, and Chidiya Tapu, Corbyn’s Cove, a few museums, Cinque islands, etc. which one can explore. Covering all of these would require around 4 full days.

Port Blair is the capital of Andaman and has many stays and food options across all ranges of budgets. You can easily get a 2-wheeler on rent, an auto rickshaw or a cab for conveyance in and around Port Blair. Day: 02 Havelock: Swaraj Dweep-The Land of Beautiful Beaches and Scuba

We took a cruise to Havelock, there are private and government ferries to hop on the island from Port Blair. The Makruzz, takes 1.5 hours to reach Havelock. If you are looking for a beach destination Havelock is the place to go and not Port Blair. In the evening the Barefoot Diving people were giving a presentation on scuba diving and then you can proceed to dive underwater to experience the serene beauty of marine life. After this, in the afternoon you can proceed and visit the Kala Pathar beach and enjoy the cool breeze and breathe fresh out there. In Havelock, there is the best beach in India- Radhanagar Beach. It is a pristine stretch of sand backed by turquoise water and lush forest. Radhanagar Beach is commonly called Beach No. 7.

Day: 03 A short trip to Elephanta Beach.

Havelock is known for its pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and the variety of water sports that it has to offer. There is much more to explore in Havelock, as it offers plenty of adventure and sports activities to its visitors. Elephant Beach has the best snorkeling things to do. One can reach here either by a speedboat ride or by a short 1.8 km trek through the beautiful mangrove forest to reach this immense beautiful island. You can do kayaking, scuba, jet ski, glass bottom ride, etc. Havelock has the best resort nearby all island, you can opt for any one of them for your stay while visiting Andaman.

Day: 04 Neil Island- Shaheed Dweep

Neil Island is best known for its unparalleled biodiversity and unexplored span of dense tropical forests and greenery complemented by white sand beaches and rich coral reefs.

Currently known as the Shaheed Dweep, this is a small island that spans an area of 13.7 Sq. KM. only, most of which is covered with forest.

Due to the lack of vehicles, markets, fewer resorts, and less population, Neil Island is best suited for people who’d like to have a laid-back vacation in Andaman, far from the city noises and into the wonderful world of complete serenity. Some notable places to visit on Neil Island are, Bharatpur Beach, Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, and Natural Bridge. Some people also like to visit Ramnagar Beach, also known as Sunset Beach. Water Sports Activities are only available on Bharatpur Beach. The rest of the attractions are only for sightseeing.

 
Day: 05 Get Back to Port Blair

On the last day transfer to the Neil jetty to catch the morning or afternoon ferry to hop on Port Blair. After reaching out there you can enjoy the historical Cellular Jail with light and sound show to get famous Kala Pani history. You can also visit Ross bay island for water sports activities. After refreshing your whole tour with the beach vacation get back to Port Blair to for depart home with unlimited and unforgettable memories you have made here.
