Kashmir can be visited at any time of the year except during the monsoon season. it offers different experiences throughout the year. In the summers you can witness lush green valleys, and snow during the winters.

For a holiday tour to Jammu and Kashmir, we recommend you to miss the Gandola rides in Gulmarg, water sports at Gandrbal in Sonmarg, river rafting in the Lidder, River at Pahalgam, and the pilgrimage to the Vaishno Devi temple.

During summers heaters are not required in the houseboat. However hot water bottles can be provided on request. Fans are available.

In summer light woolens would be sufficient to carry. but in winter if you visit Kashmir, it is suggested to carry thick woolen as the temperatures go below the freezing point.
