Corbett National Park, which is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a Project Tiger Reserve lies in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The magical landscape of Corbett is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India’s oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. This unique tiger territory is best known as the father who gave birth of the Project Tiger in India to protect the most endangered species and the Royal of India called Tigers.
In the morning, you will be driven to Corbett National Park from Delhi. Upon arrival, you can check in at the selected hotel. Post lunch at the hotel, you will be headed upto local sightseeing in Corbett which includes Garjia Devi Temple , Corbett Waterfall , Corbett museum , Kosi River, Hanuman Dham and other popular places .
On day 2, you will head towards the oldest and most prestigious national park in India Corbett Park. Here you can explore the beauty and wilderness of these amazing and offbeat natural destinations. On your way in a jeep safari, you can seek the magical landscape of Corbett riverine belts, grasslands and beautiful lakes. You can witness a sheer abundance of remarkable fauna species such as Asiatic elephant, Black Bear, Sloth Bear, Sambar and the famous endangered Royal Bengal Tiger roaming around in the park. The park is home to more than 500 species of residents and migratory birds. Return to the resort and have breakfast.
